Technical Director

Steve Mokris is the GRID Lab’s Technical Director. A few years back, he studied physics, music composition, and computer science at a little liberal-arts college in Ohio. His current interests lie at the intersection of these areas — digital media and simulation technology. In 2004 he founded the Kineme project, which has been pushing the boundaries of interactive media development for the Mac OS X platform. He also leads a performance-art group which has inflicted itself upon unsuspecting audiences across the country and produced a few albums and a peculiar sort of feature-length film.
