Mia is an associate professor and director of graduate studies in the School of Media Arts & Studies at Ohio University. She is the author of Cheating: Gaining Advantage in Videogames from MIT Press, and co-editor of the Blackwell Handbook of Internet Studies. She is currently writing a book about the role of Japan in the development of the digital games industry.
