3D Modeling and Animation

Employment will begin May 2019.

Requirements:

  • -Must be a currently enrolled student of Ohio University.
  • -Strong ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • -Ability to work well on teams.
  • -Must meet deadlines.
  • -Firm understanding of Animation techniques and terminology.
  • -Create 2D and 3D Rigging and Inverse Kinematics.
  • -Experience with 3D Character Animation.
  • -Production Experience with Autodesk Maya.
  • -Proven track record working with GitHub.
  • -Mac and Windows file management experience.
  • -Ability to create and work within existing production pipelines.

Optional:

  • -Motion Capture Production Experience
  • -Experience working with Actors
  • -Familiarity with Autodesk MotionBuilder.
  • -3D Modeling skills.
  • -Experience with Unity3D and Mecanim.

VR/AR Developers and Game Developers

GRID Lab Technician

Employment will begin May 2019.

  • -Needs to be able to work in both PC & Mac environments.
  • -Strong ability to multi-task.
  • -Must be punctual, dependable, and a team player.
  • -Ability to help plan, implement, and complete tasks over the semester.
  • -Assist in overseeing that the lab tech and software is in working order.
  • -Help with equipment checkouts for students and faculty.

Preferred:

  • -Have experience with computer hardware.
  • -Successful PC builds, and upgrades are a plus!

360 Video Production and Post

Employment will begin after spring semester exams week. Job ends June 28th Up to 15-25 hours/week x 8 weeks

  • -Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
  • -Ability to work well on teams and meet deadlines.
  • -Experience with 360-degree video production and post-production techniques
  • -Past Photography and/or Video Production Experience.
  • -Experience with Adobe Premiere.
  • -Windows file management experience.
  • -Ability to create and work within existing production pipelines.

Optional:

  • -Video Color Correction knowledge.
  • -Spherical image stitching experience.
  • -Experience compositing Visual Effects.
  • -Please note any Immersive Media courses completed.

Immersive Audio Production and Post

Employment will begin after spring semester exams week. Job ends June 28th Up to 15-25 hours/week x 8 week

Post-production, Research and/or Presentation Assistance for 360 Video Training Projects (Two Positions Available for graduate students only)

This is a $3,000.00 stipend position for 20 hours/week. Employment will begin after spring semester exams week. Job ends June 28th

Eye Tracking in 360-Degree Video (Positions Available for graduate and/or undergraduate)
